To-Read in 2017

The end of the year is upon us, and when we all wake up tomorrow it’ll be the first of a brand new year. So what does that mean? It means a whole new year to read a lot of new books. Granted, some of these books have already been published, but it doesn’t mean I’m any less excited to read them!

Made You UpMade You Up by Francesca Zappia— Look at that cover. Just look at it. It’s so beautiful! The main character deals with schizophrenia, something that I have yet to read about in YA literature. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

This Adventure Ends

This Adventure Ends by Emma Mills—This book intrigued me with the cover, but kept me with the plot. Mystery mixed with family drama is a book I’m always willing to read!

Starfall (Starflight #2)

Starfall by Melissa Landers—I fell in love with the first book of this series, Starflight, earlier this year, and I am still waiting on the edge of my seat to read the sequel! I want to be sucked back into the world of the Banshee. Plus, the novel gets released on my birthday! How is that for destiny?

Digging in the Stars

Digging in the Stars by Katherine Blakeney—This cover hasn’t been released yet, but I’m already in love with it because of the teasers of the spine on the publisher’s Instagram page. Archaeology mixed with mystery, science fiction, and romance? Oh yes, sign me up!

Still Life with Tornado

Still Life with Tornado by A.S. King—This book sounds a bit like David Levithan’s Every Day, which I absolutely adored. I think the switching narrators aspect is so interesting, I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

What are some books you are excited to read in 2017?
